Carbon Footprint Calculator

Objective: To provide comment on the draft presentation to Cobourg Council including decide whether to the Committee wishes to move forward on asking Council to make it available to Cobourg citizens, and also discuss who will prepare the draft material to be posted along with the calculator (Attachment: draft presentation)

Cobourg's Draft 2022 Budget
  

Objective: to determine whether the Committee wishes to submit a resolution to the Committee of the Whole at their Nov 15, 2021 re: specifics the Committee would like to see included in the budget. Note: Budget dates are as follows:

  • Release to the Public:  Oct 22, 2021
  • Public Meeting for Council to receive public submissions:  November 8, 2021
  • Budget meeting Staff presentations for various departments: November 9 and 10, 2021
  • Special Council Budget sessions: November 25 and Nov. 26
  • Final passage of the 2022 Operating and Capital Budget for Regular Council: December 13, 2021

Climate Emergency Adaptation
  

Objective: to agree on how the SCEAC can increase their learning on Climate Adaptation to help the Committee carry out its mandate.

Objective: To inform on activities in the future of interest to the SCEAC:

  • RFP for ICSP/GDS/Retrofit Study closed October 26, 2021; selection of consultant underway
  • Nov 29, 2021 Public meeting for Tannery District Sustainable Neighbourhood Master Plan
