The Town of Cobourg respectfully acknowledges that we are located in the traditional and treaty territory of the Michi Saagiig (Mississauga) and Chippewa Nations, collectively known as the Williams Treaties First Nations, which include: Curve Lake, Hiawatha, Alderville, Scugog Island, Rama, Beausoleil, and Georgina Island First Nations.

  • SCCAC proposed changes to Terms of Reference (TOR) : Adam to inform on Council’s decision on Resolution submitted by the SCCAC on changes to the SCCAC TOR
  • Green Development Standard: Minnie to briefly review conclusion she and Judy reached re what can be mandated by municipality and what not.
  • Debrief on Presentation to PRAC on Feb 2, 2021 by John and Warren 
  • Debrief on Presentation to PDAC on Feb 2, 2021 by Marius and Minnie

Objective: To review and provide comment on draft presentation to TAC prepared by Warren and Tony (Draft TAC presentation attached)

Objective: To agree on updates/additions/deletions to SCCAC 2021 Work Plan and Timeline (Three related attachments: 2020 Work Plan; 2020 Work Plan with Minnie’s suggested changes for 2021 Work Plan; Document containing Work Plan Suggestions from Warren)

Objective: To discuss a SCCAC member participating in the in a small group meeting hosted by Lakefront Utilities regarding sustainability. The feedback will assist Lakefront Utilities in developing their Cost of Service application to the Ontario Energy Board. (Attached: email from Alexis Smith, Communications Coordinator, Lakefront Utilities and the Customer Consultation Workbook)

Objective: To discuss proposed changes to the Terms of Reference. (Draft Motion Attached)
