CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m.

BUSINESS ARISING

6.1

COVID-19

CPL hosted a vaccine clinic in partnership with Northumberland County and the health unit. Northumberland County was able to provide the vaccine to 33 of their vulnerable clients who would not be able to receive it otherwise. 

Depending on news from the Ontario Government, the Library is planning to open on June 3rd, pending the lifting of the current Stay-At-Home-Order.

Board Policy 3.6: CEO Performance Appraisal Policy

Moved by P. McCourt, seconded by J Gillard, that Board Policy 3.6: CEO Performance Appraisal Policy be approved as presented. Carried. 

7.2

Equipment Purchase: Server

Information regarding the purchase of a new server for the Library was presented. 

Moved by P. McCourt, seconded by J. Hearst, to approve the use of $9422.28 of funds set aside from the Library Foundation. Carried.

CLOSED SESSION

Moved by P. McCourt, seconded by J. Gillard to move in camera as outlined in Section 16.1(4)(b) of the Public Libraries Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.44, regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual. Carried. 

Moved by P. McCourt, seconded by M. Neill, to move ex camera. Carried.
